McKenzie Creative encompasses all of my passions, from designing interior spaces to styling residential homes or collaborating on commercial property development projects.

Capturing images of people, places and food to curating hotels and travel writing. For me work-life balance means having time to invest energy into my creative aspirations.

The journey

My creative path began through styling and shooting food in Australia and North America. This somehow led me to the travel industry, which fed my desire to explore the globe and its infinite offerings in cuisine, culture, design and architecture. I’ve always enjoyed feeding a variety of creative outlets. Before too long I returned and joined my (then life partner ) / builder and ventured down the renovation path. From this point, a true hunger for immersing myself in interior design unfolded.

Six consecutive renovations and a homewares store venture, lead me to my latest chapter with NOUN Studio. Being involved in the conception and start up of the business was a truely wonderful and inspiring experience. The studio renovation and a dabble in commercial projects anchored my ongoing love for the industry.

I've always had an avid interest and an ingrained love for design, which stems from aspiring to surround myself with all things beautiful in a meaningful, functional environment. My aim is to conceptualise a project, create a unique sense of space, then bring the structure and soul to life.
